i am currently incapable of having a single original, critical Thot so i'm abandoning my assignment for the sake of this music post that no one asked for. genre wise music this month has been surprisingly consistent for me, except the whole oh my girl thing lol... oh say it ain't so </3 what can i say, i watched gp999 and for some reason the 5th season just stuck with me. speaking of gp999 i've also listened to o.o.o a lot this month, but apparently not enough for it to make it in my top ten most listened to tracks?? APPARENTLY I...HAVEN'T... LISTENED TO "okay / i’m gonna be your star / deo hwaksilhan ge my style" MORE THAN 14 TIMES?? insert x doubt meme

jubilee is So Good, i adore that album. i started listening to japanese breakfast after i began reading michelle zauner's book (crying in h mart). i listened to be sweet (to me baby!!!) and paprika RELIGIOUSLY over the summer, and now the entire album is constantly on repeat. i'm a little puzzled as to why posing in bondage is my most listened to song this month bc it's not rly my favourite on the album tho lol, but well. whatever u say, last.fm.  its funny bc i actually remember one of their earlier tracks (boyish) kept showing up on my youtube suggested like 2-3 years ago but i never clicked on it for some reason?? oh younger me... how head empty you used to be

p sure ichiko aoba shows up in my top ten like every month. i tend to go back to her music whenever it's late at night and i want to listen to something lol. i am constantly on qp by ichiko aoba (2018) mode <3 i love her music?? i read and write fic to it bc i am incapable of doing anything without bg music?? this one time i visited my uncle's family and i woke up at 4 am and couldn't sleep so i plugged in my not-wireless earplugs and listened to her entire discography while staring up at the ceiling until it was an acceptable hour in the morning for me to get up and pretend i'd slept fine?? she's going on tour in europe (not in my country, unfort. yet another reason why [redacted country] shouldn't exist) and i haven't watched the squid games yet but like, i'd risk my life and fight a giant squid too or whatever it is u have to do if that meant i could get an ichiko aoba concert ticket + a plane ticket, i can tell u that!!!

rina released a cover of enter sandman this month which i've obviously been listening to A LOT which made me miss her other music so i've just been going back to rina's music a WHOLE lot this month... no one is surprised. the thing about fighting a squid for ichiko also applies here

yeeah fellow ichiko aoba enjoyer!! you're so right, her music is just calming and perfect and everything i could ever ask for :') and i'm always in awe at her guitar playing, it's so intricate even though she makes it sound easy. really glad to have found someone else who also loves her music <33
